Es ist die Beschaffenheit der Platonischen Werke selbst, welche in ihrer Vielseitigkeit [20] uns verschiedene Gestalten des Philosophierens darbietet. H\u00e4tten wir noch das rein philosophische (dogmatische) Werk Platons, wor\u00fcber Brandis geschrieben hat, das unter dem Titel <i>Von der Philosophie oder Von den Ideen<\/i> von Aristoteles zitiert wird und er vor sich gehabt zu haben scheint, wenn er die Platonische Philosophie beschreibt, von ihr spricht, so w\u00fcrden wir dann seine Philosophie in einfacherer Gestalt vor uns haben. So aber haben wir nur seine Dialoge, und diese Gestalt erschwert es uns, sogleich Vorstellung zu gewinnen, uns bestimmte Darstellung von seiner Philosophie zu machen. Esta es la la <i>naturaleza<\/i> misma de las obras plat\u00f3nicas que nos brinda tambi\u00e9n, con su multiformidad, diversas formas de filosofar, y es aqu\u00ed, precisamente, donde radica la <i>primera dificultad<\/i>. con que tropieza la comprensi\u00f3n de la filosof\u00eda plat\u00f3nica. Si se hubiesen conservado los discursos verbales (\u1f04\u03b3\u03c1\u03b1\u03c6\u03b1 \u03b4\u03cc\u03b3\u03bc\u03b1\u03c4\u03b1) de Plat\u00f3n bajo el t\u00edtulo de <i>En to<\/i><i>rn<\/i><i>o a lo bueno<\/i> (\u03c0\u03b5\u03c1\u1f76 \u03c4\u1f00\u03b3\u03b1\u03b8\u03bf\u1fe6), recogidos por sus disc\u00edpulos y que Arist\u00f3teles cita y parece haber tenido a la vista en su obra <i>De la filosof\u00eda<\/i> o <i>De las ideas<\/i> o <i>Del bien<\/i> (acerca de la que ha escrito Brandis), donde trata de la filosof\u00eda plat\u00f3nica, es posible que vi\u00e9ramos las concepciones filos\u00f3ficas de Plat\u00f3n en una forma m\u00e1s sencilla, ya que en esta obra proced\u00eda nuestro pensador, al parecer, de un modo m\u00e1s sistem\u00e1tico.<sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote \" data-mfn=\"1\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"00000000000007770000000000000000_6476\"><a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"  role=\"button\" aria-pressed=\"false\" aria-describedby=\"mfn-content-00000000000007770000000000000000_6476-1\">1<\/a><\/sup><span id=\"mfn-content-00000000000007770000000000000000_6476-1\" role=\"tooltip\" class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote__note\" tabindex=\"0\" data-mfn=\"1\">Brandis, <i>De perditis Aristotelis libris de ideis et de bono, sive philosophia<\/i>, pp. 1-13. (Cfr. Michelet, <i>Examen critique de l\u2019ouvrage d\u2019Aristote intitul\u00e9 M\u00e9taphysique<\/i>, 1835, pp. 28-78) [M.].<\/span> Pero es el caso que s\u00f3lo han llegado a nosotros sus di\u00e1logos, y la forma de estas obras hace que nos sea dif\u00edcil obtener en seguida una idea clara y concreta de su filosof\u00eda. It is the nature of Plato\u2019s works themselves, which in their diversity offers us various forms of philosophizing. If we also had the purely philosophical (dogmatic) work of Plato, about which Brandis wrote, which is quoted by Aristotle under the title Of Philosophy or Ideas and which he seems to have had in front of him when he described Platonic philosophy and spoke of it, then we would have his philosophy in a simpler form. But as it is, we only have his dialogues, and this form makes it difficult for us to immediately gain an idea, to give ourselves a definite presentation of his philosophy.
