Y este su extra\u00f1amiento [<i>Entfremdung<\/i>] [este su dejar de ser realidades] es la conciencia <i>pura<\/i> [o la pura conciencia], o la <i>esencia<\/i> [<i>Wesen<\/i>]. Por un lado, la autoconciencia efectiva, por su exteriorizaci\u00f3n, pasa al mundo efectivamente real, y \u00e9ste vuelve a aqu\u00e9lla; pero, por otro lado, precisamente esta realidades efectivas, tanto la persona como la objetualidad, han sido asumidas; ellas son lo puramente universal. Este extra\u00f1amiento suyo es la <i>conciencia pura<\/i>, o la <i>esencia<\/i>. However, for each other, what each of them means is also alienation from the other. On the one hand, through its self-relinquishing, actual self-consciousness makes a transition into the actual world, which then passes over again back into actual self-consciousness. But on the other hand, this actuality, as well as the person and objectivity, are all sublated; they are purely universal. Their alienation is <i>pure consciousness<\/i>, or the <i>essence<\/i>.
