De estar siendo (\u1f44\u03bd) en otro, estar\u00eda rodeado circularmente por aquel en quien se hallare siendo (\u1f10\u03bd \u03b5\u1f34\u03b7). N\u00f3tese que c\u00edrculo (\u03ba\u03cd\u03ba\u03bb\u03bf\u03c2) no es lo mismo que \u00abcircun-ferencia\u00bb (\u03c0\u03b5\u03c1\u03af-\u03c6\u03ad\u03c1\u03b5\u03b9\u03b1 = \u03c0\u03b5\u03c1\u03b9\u03c6\u03ad\u03c1\u03b5\u03b9\u03b1). Bastaba con decir \u00abc\u00edrculo\u00bb para que Arist\u00f3teles \u2014Zen\u00f3n, S\u00f3crates y dem\u00e1s presentes\u2014 recordaran del bien conocido Poema de Parm\u00e9nides aquellos ex\u00e1metros<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">\u2026 \u03b5\u1f54\u03ba\u03c5\u03ba\u03bb\u03bf\u03bd \u03c3\u03c6\u03b1\u03af\u03c1\u03b7\u03c2 \u1f10\u03bd\u03b1\u03bb\u03af\u03b3\u03ba\u03b9\u03bf\u03bd \u1f44\u03b3\u03ba\u1ff3<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">\u03bc\u03ad\u03c3\u03c3\u03bf\u03b8\u03b5\u03bd \u1f30\u03c3\u03bf\u03c0\u03b1\u03bb\u03ad\u03c2 \u03c0\u03ac\u03bd\u03c4\u1fc3 (8; 43-44)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">\u00abEl ente (o Lo Ente, \u03c4\u1f78 \u1f44\u03bd, \u03c4\u1f78 \u1f10\u03cc\u03bd) es semejante al contenido (\u1f44\u03b3\u03ba\u03bf\u03c2) de esfera bellamente circular, desde el medio hacia todos lados equilibrada\u00bb, por estar, sup\u00f3ngase, Lo Uno siendo en otro: en algo tan fundamental, necesario y natural a Lo Uno cual \u00abLo Ente\u00bb que es, por su contenido y figura continente, cual esfera, Lo Ente estar\u00eda circularmente rodeado, y por todo \u00c9l en contacto por todas partes con Lo Ente. Lo cual es imposible a Lo Uno por razones que da Parm\u00e9nides aqu\u00ed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">No puede tampoco Lo Uno estar en s\u00ed mismo (\u1f10\u03bd \u1f11\u03b1\u03c5\u03c4\u1ff7); \u00abel estar en s\u00ed mismo\u00bb propio, o a la altura de algo que es \u00abLo Uno\u00bb es tambi\u00e9n el estar rodeado circularmente (\u03c0\u03b5\u03c1\u03b9\u03ad\u03c7\u03bf\u03bd) por \u00e9l mismo. La esfera, por su contextura ontol\u00f3gica \u2014no por la geom\u00e9trica\u2014 es la m\u00e1s id\u00e9ntica de las figuras, de \u00ablo continente que ajustadamente tiene su contenido, \u03c3\u03c7\u1fc6\u03bc\u03b1, \u03c3\u03c7\u03b5\u1fd6\u03bd, \u1f14\u03c7\u03b5\u03b9\u03bd\u00bb. Todo punto de todo c\u00edrculo y circunferencia de la Esfera es, a la una, principio-medio-fin, parte de si-pasa por si-termina de por s\u00ed en el punto de partida mismo. Ser\u00eda, pues, la figura en que Lo Uno puede estar siendo como \u00abmismo\u00bb, como Uno. Mas no es posible ni esto. Y lo demuestra aqu\u00ed Parm\u00e9nides (138 b).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">Respecto de movimiento y reposo. No se trata de que sea movido por otro u otro lo haga reposar. Se trata de que se mueva a s\u00ed mismo (\u03ba\u03b9\u03bd\u03b5\u1fd6\u03c3\u03b8\u03b1\u03b9) o de que \u00e9l mismo \u00abrepose\u00bb (\u1f11\u03c3\u03c4\u03ac\u03bd\u03b1\u03b9), o de que<i> se<\/i> mueva \u00e9l por s\u00ed a alterar<i>se<\/i>. Siempre un \u00abreflexivo\u00bb, \u2014se, a s\u00ed mismo, de por s\u00ed mismo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">El Argumento ha hecho notar la fuerza de lo repetido<i> <\/i><i>ni<\/i>,<i> ni<\/i>,<i> ni\u2026 Ni<\/i> se mueve<i> ni<\/i> no se mueve,<i> ni<\/i> se altera<i> ni<\/i> no se altera\u2026 \u00abLo Uno<i> ni se<\/i> mueve<i> ni<\/i> reposa\u00bb (139 b). Est\u00e1 m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de Todo eso en sus diversos modos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">Los <i>ni <\/i><i>ni<\/i><i> <\/i>se acumulan a continuaci\u00f3n (139 &#8211; 142 a, b). El Argumento los va contando.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">Una advertencia ayudar\u00e1 a ponderar lo siguiente. Toda cosa es una, y, respecto de tal unidad, identidad (misma), id\u00e9nticamente id\u00e9ntico (\u03b1\u1f50\u03c4\u1f78 \u03ba\u03b1\u03b8\u2019 \u03b1\u1f51\u03c4\u03cc) son duplicaciones que potencian la unidad inicial, en las cosas que las admitan. (Sea dicho con un ejemplo: el uno no admite potenciaciones, 1.1= 1, 1. 1. 1 = 1\u2026; mas el dos las admite, 2. 2 = 4, y 4 &gt; 2; 2 . 2. 2 = 8, 8 &gt; 4 &gt; 2, etc.).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">\u00abLo Uno\u00bb (\u03c4\u1f78 \u1f14\u03bd) no es uno con unidad tan superior ya que no admite el tipo de potenciaciones que otras cosas admiten. Los dem\u00e1s e\u00eddoses (Lo Ente, Movimiento, Reposo, Peque\u00f1ez\u2026) admiten potenciaciones de su unidad, \u2014su estado es el potenciaci\u00f3n; son cada uno \u00e9l en cuanto \u00e9l mismo, en-s\u00ed-mismado (\u03b1\u1f50\u03c4\u1f78 \u03ba\u03b1\u03b8\u2019 \u03b1\u1f51\u03c4\u03cc \u03bc\u03b5\u03b8\u1fbd \u03b1\u1f50\u03c4\u03bf\u1fe6, Cl. III.1),<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">Mas \u00abLo Uno\u00bb es un \u00abUno\u00bb tan superlativa y tan de suprema manera ya que no admite potenciaciones.
