Capitiensis est\u00e1 jugando con la acepci\u00f3n de un dilema planteado como argumento, denominado \u00ab<a href=\"https:\/\/dle.rae.es\/argumento#5uh6U3v\">argumento cornuto<\/a>\u00bb [<em>n. del tr<\/em>.].<\/span> toda la tragedia griega est\u00e1 recorrida por este <em>Leitmotiv<\/em> de la <em>elecci\u00f3n inevitable entre dos males<\/em>. Tanto en <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Esquilo\">Esquilo<\/a><sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote \" data-mfn=\"2\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"00000000000007870000000000000000_14883\"><a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ifigenia\">Ifigenia<\/a> y un mal no sacrificarla, un mal llorarla y un mal no llorarla; <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Orestes\">Orestes<\/a>, que lo ha vengado, \u00ab\u00a1Me duelen los cr\u00edmenes y todo el sufrimiento de mi estirpe, cuando sombre m\u00ed siento la no envidiable mancha de esta victoria m\u00eda!\u00bb<sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote \" data-mfn=\"4\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"00000000000007870000000000000000_14883\"><a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"  role=\"button\" aria-pressed=\"false\" href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/P%C3%A9lope\">P\u00e9lope<\/a>, de <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Atreo\">Atreo<\/a>, de <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tiestes\">Tiestes<\/a>, de Agamen\u00f3n, de <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Egisto\">Egisto<\/a>, de <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Clitemnestra\">Clitemnestra<\/a> y de \u00e9l mismo, todos ellos siempre obligados a elegir entre mal y mal; y <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Atenea\">Atenea<\/a> retoma la idea afirmando que ya para ella ambas cosas, acoger o expulsar a las <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Erinias\">Erinias<\/a> (y, por tanto, condenar o absolver a Orestes), son \u00abirremediablemente desastrosas\u00bb (\u03b4\u03c5\u03c3\u03c0\u03ae\u03bc\u03b1\u03bd\u03c4\u1fbd \u1f00\u03bc\u03b7\u03c7\u03ac\u03bd\u03c9\u03c2).<sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote \" data-mfn=\"5\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"00000000000007870000000000000000_14883\"><a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"  role=\"button\" aria-pressed=\"false\" preferido la muerte y la otra la vida, y cada decisi\u00f3n fue aprobada por algunos, pero ambas se revelaron err\u00f3neas;<sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote \" data-mfn=\"6\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"00000000000007870000000000000000_14883\"><a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"  role=\"button\" aria-pressed=\"false\" del mal que inflige a los dem\u00e1s en su locura al mal que \u00e9l mismo padece una vez recobrado el juicio \u2014al darse cuenta de lo que ha hecho\u2014, y esta es para Tecmesa la elecci\u00f3n t\u00edpica ofrecida a los seres humanos: la elecci\u00f3n entre dos males distintos.<sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote \" data-mfn=\"7\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"00000000000007870000000000000000_14883\"><a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"  role=\"button\" aria-pressed=\"false\" href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Prometeo_encadenado\"><em>Prometeo encadenado<\/em><\/a>: penoso resulta para <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hefesto\">Hefesto<\/a> encadenar a una divinidad af\u00edn a \u00e9l, pero grave ser\u00eda negarse a obedecer a <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Zeus\">Zeus<\/a>, su padre;<sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote \" data-mfn=\"8\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"00000000000007870000000000000000_14883\"><a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"  role=\"button\" aria-pressed=\"false\" (e dunque condannare o assolvere Oreste) sono \u00abirrimediabilmente disastrose\u00bb (\u03b4\u03c5\u03c3\u03c0\u03ae\u03bc\u03b1\u03bd\u03c4\u1fbd \u1f00\u03bc\u03b7\u03c7\u03ac\u03bd\u03c9\u03c2 morte e l\u2019altra la vita, e ciascuna decisione fu approvata da alcuni, ma entrambe si rivelarono errate;<sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote \" data-mfn=\"15\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"00000000000007870000000000000000_14883\"><a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"  role=\"button\" aria-pressed=\"false\" una volta rinsavito, rendendosi conto di ci\u00f2 che ha fatto, e questa per Tecmessa \u00e8 la tipica scelta offerta agli umani, la scelta tra due diversi mali.<sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote
