En la conclusi\u00f3n, S\u00f3crates se justifica por no apelar a la piedad del jurado, como era costumbre. Esa justificaci\u00f3n es, en cierto modo, una digresi\u00f3n en el sentido definido con anterioridad, pero difiere de las dos digresiones en sentido estricto en que no se la presenta como una respuesta a lo que \u00abalguien quiz\u00e1 podr\u00eda decir\u00bb (cf. <a href=\"https:\/\/atriumphilosophicum.es\/home\/wiki\/apologia-plato-030\/\">34d1-2<\/a> con <a href=\"https:\/\/atriumphilosophicum.es\/home\/wiki\/apologia-plato-006\/\">20c4<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/atriumphilosophicum.es\/home\/wiki\/apologia-plato-016\/\">28b3<\/a>). In the conclusion Socrates justifies himself for not appealing to the pity of the jury as was the custom. That justification is in a way a digression in the sense previously defined, but it differs from the two digressions proper because it is not introduced as a reply to what \u201csomeone might perhaps say\u201d (cf. <a href=\"https:\/\/atriumphilosophicum.es\/home\/wiki\/apologia-plato-030\/\">34d1-2<\/a> with <a href=\"https:\/\/atriumphilosophicum.es\/home\/wiki\/apologia-plato-006\/\">20c4<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/atriumphilosophicum.es\/home\/wiki\/apologia-plato-016\/\">28b3<\/a>).
