La preservaci\u00f3n de la vida como valor femenino y la muerte con honor como valor masculino entran en conflicto, como hemos observado, en el contraste entre <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Et%C3%A9oclo\">Eteocles<\/a> y las j\u00f3venes tebanas en <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Los_siete_contra_Tebas_(Esquilo)\"><em>Los Siete<\/em><\/a>; pero tambi\u00e9n en el debate entre <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Polinices\">Polinices<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ant%C3%ADgona\">Ant\u00edgona<\/a> en el <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Edipo_en_Colono\"><em>Edipo en Colono<\/em><\/a>.<sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote \" data-mfn=\"2\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"00000000000007750000000000000000_13914\"><a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"  role=\"button\" aria-pressed=\"false\" aria-describedby=\"mfn-content-00000000000007750000000000000000_13914-2\">2<\/a><\/sup><span id=\"mfn-content-00000000000007750000000000000000_13914-2\" role=\"tooltip\" class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote__note\" tabindex=\"0\" data-mfn=\"2\">Soph. <em>Oed. Col<\/em>., 1414-46.<\/span> En <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Las_suplicantes_(Eur%C3%ADpides)\"><em>Las Suplicantes<\/em><\/a> de <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Eur%C3%ADpides\">Eur\u00edpides<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Teseo\">Teseo<\/a> ha negado su ayuda a <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Adrasto\">Adrasto<\/a>, record\u00e1ndole que sus males se los ha buscado \u00e9l mismo; pero luego su madre <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Etra\">Etra<\/a> lo ha llamado al deber de enterrar a los muertos. La salvezza della vita come valore femminile e la morte con onore come valore maschile entrano in conflitto, come abbiamo osservato, nel contrasto tra Eteocle e le fanciulle tebane nei <em>Sette<\/em>; ma anche nel dibattito tra Polinice e Antigone nell\u2019<em>Edipo a Colono<\/em>.<sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote \" data-mfn=\"5\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"00000000000007750000000000000000_13914\"><a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"  role=\"button\" aria-pressed=\"false\" aria-describedby=\"mfn-content-00000000000007750000000000000000_13914-5\">5<\/a><\/sup><span id=\"mfn-content-00000000000007750000000000000000_13914-5\" role=\"tooltip\" class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote__note\" tabindex=\"0\" data-mfn=\"5\">Soph. <em>Oed.
