With Rousseau there begins what we may call the second wave of modernity: the wave which bore both German idealistic philosophy and the romanticism of all ranks in all countries. <\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">T<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">his great and complex counter-movement consisted in the first place in a return from the world of modernity to pre-modern ways of thinking.<\/span> <span lang=\"en-GB\">Rousseau returned from the world of finance, from what he was the first to call the world of the <\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\"><i>bourgeois<\/i><\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">, to the world of <\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">virtue <\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">and the city, to the world of the <\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\"><i>citoyen<\/i><\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">. Kant returned from Descartes\u2019 and Locke\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">s <\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">notion of ideas to the Platonic notion. Hegel returned from the philosophy of reflection to the \u201chigher vitality\u201d of Plato and Aristotle.<\/span> <span lang=\"en-GB\">And romanticism as a whole is primarily a movement of return to the origins. Rousseau. Con Rousseau comienza lo que pudi\u00e9ramos denominar la segunda <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">ola<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"> de la modernidad: la <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">ola que dio a luz la filosof\u00eda del <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">idealismo alem\u00e1n <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">y al <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">romanticismo <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">de todo tipo en todos los pa\u00edses<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">.
