The Modern Solutions<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n It was possible to speak of the classical solution to the problem of political philosophy because there is a fundamental and at the same time specific agreement among all classical political philosophers: the goal of political life is virtue, and the order most conducive to virtue is the aristocratic republic, or else the mixed regime. But in modern times, we find a great variety of fundamentally different political philosophies. Nevertheless, all modern political philosophies belong together because they have a fundamental principle in common. This principle can best be stated negatively: rejection of the classical scheme as unrealistic. The positive principle animating modern political philosophy has undergone a great variety of fundamental changes. This fact, and its reason, can be shown best if we proceed in a somewhat more narrative way than we have done hitherto.<\/span><\/p>\n Next paragraph<\/a><\/p>\n Previous paragraph<\/a><\/p>\n III. Las soluciones <\/span>M<\/span>odernas<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n F<\/span>ue<\/span> posible hablar de la soluci\u00f3n cl\u00e1sica al problema de la filosof\u00eda pol\u00edtica porque se da un acuerdo, tanto en el plano general como en los detalles espec\u00edficos, entre todos los fil\u00f3sofos cl\u00e1sicos: el fin de la vida pol\u00edtica es la virtud, y el orden pol\u00edtico que conduce a la virtud es la rep\u00fablica aristot\u00e9lica o, tambi\u00e9n, la forma mixta de gobierno. <\/span>Pero<\/span> los tiempos moderno<\/span>s<\/span> encontramos <\/span>una gran variedad de <\/span>de filosof\u00edas pol\u00edticas fundamentalmente diferentes. No obstante, todas las filosof\u00edas pol\u00edticas modernas confluyen en un principio fundamental com\u00fan a todas ellas.
