El problema de la Filosof\u00eda Pol\u00edtica<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">Por Le\u014dnardus Str\u016bthi\u014d<\/span><\/p>\n\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong><span lang=\"la-VA\">Le<\/span><span lang=\"la-VA\">\u014d<\/span><span lang=\"la-VA\">nard<\/span><span lang=\"la-VA\">\u012b<\/span><span lang=\"la-VA\"> Str\u016bt<\/span><span lang=\"la-VA\">h<\/span><span lang=\"la-VA\">i\u014dnis<\/span><span lang=\"la-VA\"> verba<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">It goes without saying that while our social scientist may be confused, he is very far from being disloyal and from lacking integrity. <\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">His<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\"> assertion that integrity and quest for truth are values which one can with equal right choose or reject is a mere movement of his lips and his tongue, to which nothing corresponds in his heart or mind. I have never met any scientific social scientist who apart from being dedicated to truth and integrity was not also wholeheartedly devoted to democracy. When he says that democracy is a value which is not evidently superior to the opposite value, he <\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">does<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\"> not mean that he is impressed by the alternative which he rejects, or that his heart or his mind is torn between alternatives which in themselves are equally attractive. His \u201cethical neutrality\u201d is so far from being nihilism or a road to nihilism that it is not more than an alibi for thoughtlessness and vulgarity: by saying that democracy and truth are values, he says in effect that one does not have to think about the reasons why these things are good, and that he may bow as well as anyone else to the values that are adopted and respected by his society. Social science positivism fosters not so much <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nihilism\">nihilism<\/a> as conformism and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Philistinism\">philistinism<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/atriumphilosophicum.es\/home\/wiki\/what-is-political-philosophy-i-021\/#leonardi-struthii-verba\">Next paragraph<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/atriumphilosophicum.es\/home\/wiki\/what-is-political-philosophy-i-019\/#leonardi-struthii-verba\">Previous paragraph<\/a><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">Hisp<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u0101<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">nice<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><span lang=\"es-ES\">No <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">hace falta decir que<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">, aunque nuestro cient\u00edfico social pueda encontrarse <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">confuso<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">, est\u00e1 muy lejos de ser desleal o de <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">carecer de integridad<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">. Su afirmaci\u00f3n de que la entereza y la b\u00fasqueda de la verdad son valores que el individuo puede con el mismo derecho aceptar o rechazar es un simple movimiento de sus labios que no encuentra correspondencia alguna <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">ni en su coraz\u00f3n ni en su mente<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">. Nunca he <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">conocido<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"> un cient\u00edfico social que, <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">adem\u00e1s<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"> de estar dedicado a la verdad y la integridad, no fuese tambi\u00e9n un ferviente admirador de la democracia. Cuando afirma que la democracia no es un valor que necesariamente tenga que comportar una evidente superioridad sobre su contrario no quiere decir que <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">\u00e9l <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">se sienta atra\u00eddo por el valor opuesto que rechaza o que su <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">coraz\u00f3n y mente <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">est\u00e9<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">n<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"> debati\u00e9ndose entre alternativas igualmente atrayentes por s\u00ed mismas. Su <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">\u00ab<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">neutralidad <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">\u00e9tica<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">\u00bb<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"> est\u00e1 lejos de representar el nihilismo o ser un camino hacia el nihilismo; no es m\u00e1s que una <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">coartada<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"> para <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">la falta de consideraciones y la vulgaridad<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">: al afirmar que la democracia y la verdad son valores, lo que quiere decir es que no es necesario preocuparse de las razones por las cuales estas cosas son buenas y que \u00e9l pueda <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">reverenciar<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">, como <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">otro <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">cualquier<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">a,<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"> los valores aceptados y respetados por su sociedad. La ciencia social positivista <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">acoge<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"> no tanto <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">a<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">l nihilismo como <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">a<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">l conformismo y <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">al <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Filiste%C3%ADsmo\"><span lang=\"es-ES\">filiste\u00edsmo<\/span><\/a><span lang=\"es-ES\">.<sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote \" data-mfn=\"1\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"00000000000007770000000000000000_10181\"><a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"  role=\"button\" aria-pressed=\"false\" aria-describedby=\"mfn-content-00000000000007770000000000000000_10181-1\">1<\/a><\/sup><span id=\"mfn-content-00000000000007770000000000000000_10181-1\" role=\"tooltip\" class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote__note\" tabindex=\"0\" data-mfn=\"1\">En el contexto germ\u00e1nico del siglo XIX el t\u00e9rmino \u00abfilisteo\u00bb se contrapone a las personas que aceptaban la Bildung como deber de cada individuo para la grandeza no solo personal sino de toda la naci\u00f3n. Un filisteo ser\u00eda alguien que no valoraba el desarrollo inegral de la persona. En los territorios de la futura Alemania, eran los burgueses los que espetaban este t\u00e9rmino a la aristocracia.
