El problema de la Filosof\u00eda Pol\u00edtica<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">Por Le\u014dnardus Str\u016bthi\u014d<\/span><\/p>\n\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong><span lang=\"la-VA\">Le<\/span><span lang=\"la-VA\">\u014d<\/span><span lang=\"la-VA\">nard<\/span><span lang=\"la-VA\">\u012b<\/span><span lang=\"la-VA\"> Str\u016bt<\/span><span lang=\"la-VA\">h<\/span><span lang=\"la-VA\">i\u014dnis<\/span><span lang=\"la-VA\"> verba<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">Political philosophy as we have tried to circumscribe it ha<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">s<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\"> been cultivated since its beginnings almost without any interruption until a relatively short time ago. <\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">To<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">day, political philosophy is in a state of decay and perhaps of putrefaction, if it has not vanished altogether. Not only is there complete disagreement regarding its subject matter, its methods, and its function; its very possibility in any form has become questionable. The only point regarding which academic teachers of political science still agree, concerns the usefulness of studying the history of political philosophy. As regards the philosophers, it is sufficient to contrast the work of the four greatest philosophers of the last forty years<\/span><strong><span lang=\"es-ES\">\u2014<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">Bergson, Whitehead, Husserl, and Heidegger<\/span><strong><span lang=\"es-ES\">\u2014<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">with the work of Hermann <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hermann_Cohen\">Cohen<\/a> in order to see how rapidly and thoroughly political philosophy has become discredited. We may describe the present situation as follows. Originally political philosophy was identical with political science, and it was the all-embracing study of human affairs. <\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">T<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">oday, we find it cut into pieces which behave as if they were parts of a worm. In the first place, one has applied the distinction between philosophy and science to the study of human affairs, and accordingly one makes a distinction between a non-philosophic political science and a non-scientific political philosophy, a distinction which under present conditions takes away all dignity, a<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">ll <\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">honesty from political philosophy. Furthermore, large segments of what formerly belonged to political philosophy or political science have become emancipated under the names of economics, sociology, and social psychology. The pitiable rump for which honest social scientists do not care is left as prey to philosophers of history and to people who amuse themselves more than others with professions of faith. We hardly exaggerate when we say that today political philosophy does not exist any more, except as matter for burial, i.e., for historical research, or else as a theme of weak and unconvincing protestations.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/atriumphilosophicum.es\/home\/wiki\/what-is-political-philosophy-i-017\/#leonardi-struthii-verba\">Next paragraph<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/atriumphilosophicum.es\/home\/wiki\/what-is-political-philosophy-i-015\/#leonardi-struthii-verba\">Previous paragraph<\/a><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">Hisp<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u0101<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">nice<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><span lang=\"es-ES\">La filosof\u00eda pol\u00edtica, <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">tal como hemos intentado circunscribirla<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">, ha <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">sido cultivada desde sus inicios casi sin interrupciones <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">hasta un <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">fechas<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"> relativamente reciente<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">s<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">. Hoy la filosof\u00eda pol\u00edtica est\u00e1 en decadencia o, quiz\u00e1, en estado de putrefacci\u00f3n, si es que no ha desaparecido por completo. No se trata s\u00f3lo de un total desacuerdo sobre su objeto <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">de estudio<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">, su m\u00e9todo<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">s<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"> y su funci\u00f3n, sino que incluso la mera posibilidad de su existencia <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">en cualquier forma <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">ha <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">devenido cuestionable<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">. El \u00fanico punto en que los profesores de ciencia pol\u00edtica a\u00fan est\u00e1n de acuerdo es el relativo a la utilidad de estudiar la historia de la filosof\u00eda pol\u00edtica. Respecto a los fil\u00f3sofos, es suficiente comparar la obra de los cuatro fil\u00f3sofos m\u00e1s importantes en los \u00faltimos cuarenta a\u00f1os \u2014Bergson, Whitehead, Husserl y Heidegger\u2014 con la de <a href=\"https:\/\/encyclopaedia.herdereditorial.com\/wiki\/Autor:Cohen,_Hermann\">Hermann Cohen<\/a> para comprobar la rapidez y profundidad con que la filosof\u00eda pol\u00edtica ha ca\u00eddo en descr\u00e9dito.<sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote \" data-mfn=\"1\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"00000000000007770000000000000000_10173\"><a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"  role=\"button\" aria-pressed=\"false\" aria-describedby=\"mfn-content-00000000000007770000000000000000_10173-1\">1<\/a><\/sup><span id=\"mfn-content-00000000000007770000000000000000_10173-1\" role=\"tooltip\" class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote__note\" tabindex=\"0\" data-mfn=\"1\"><em>Vide<\/em> infra <a href=\"https:\/\/atriumphilosophicum.es\/home\/wiki\/what-is-political-philosophy-i-016\/#algunas-aclaraciones\"><strong>Algunas aclaraciones<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span> <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">Podr\u00edamos caracterizar la situaci\u00f3n actual de la forma siguiente: o<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">riginariamente, la filosof\u00eda pol\u00edtica <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">era id\u00e9ntica a<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"> la ciencia pol\u00edtica, y su objeto consist\u00eda en el estudio comprensivo de <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">los asuntos humanos<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">. Hoy la encontramos dividida en trozos que se comportan como si fuesen los anillos de un gusano. En primer lugar, se ha aplicado la distinci\u00f3n entre filosof\u00eda y ciencia al estudio de las cosas humanas; y, como resultado, se plantea la separaci\u00f3n entre la ciencia pol\u00edtica afilos\u00f3fica y una filosof\u00eda pol\u00edtica acient\u00edfica, separaci\u00f3n que en las circunstancias actuales despoja a la filosof\u00eda pol\u00edtica de toda dignidad y decoro. <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">M\u00e1s a\u00fan, <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">grandes sectores de la materia, que origina<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">lmente<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"> pertenec\u00edan a la filosof\u00eda pol\u00edtica, se han independizado bajo el nombre de econom\u00eda, sociolog\u00eda y psicolog\u00eda social. El lamentable <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">despojo<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"> por el que los honestos cient\u00edficos sociales ya no se preocupan ha quedado como presa apropiada para los fil\u00f3sofos de la historia y para aquellos que encuentran mayor esparcimiento en profesiones de fe. No exageramos en absoluto al decir que hoy la filosof\u00eda pol\u00edtica ya no existe, excepto como objeto de enterramiento, apropiado para las investigaciones hist\u00f3ricas, o como tema de <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">endebles protestas <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">que no convencen a nadie.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">Algunas aclaraciones<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><span lang=\"es-ES\">Para un acercamiento preliminar a la obra de los cuatro fil\u00f3sofos mencionados en primer lugar recomendamos la obra de Juan David <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">GARC\u00cdA BACCA: <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"><i>Nueve grandes fil\u00f3sofos contempor\u00e1neos y sus temas. Bergson, Husserl, Unamuno, Heidegger, Scheler, Hartmann, W. James, Ortega y Gasset, Whitehead<\/i><\/span> <span lang=\"es-ES\">(<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">Barcelona: Anthropos, 1990<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">). Para Hermann Cohen, desafortunadamente no contamos con una monograf\u00eda en castellano. Sin embargo, dos art\u00edculos <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">en castellano<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"> que tratan cuestiones espec\u00edficas de la obra del fil\u00f3sofo pueden aportar un contexto a la totalidad de su producci\u00f3n. <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">El primero es obra de Ulises <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">SCHMILL: <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">\u00ab<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">Algunas influencias de Hermann Cohen en Hans Kelsen<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">\u00bb, <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">en <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\"><i>ISONOM\u00cdA<\/i><\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">, n.\u00ba 21 (Octubre 2004), pp. 117-155 <\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">(d<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">isponible en repositorio <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scielo.org.mx\/pdf\/is\/n21\/n21a5.pdf\"><span lang=\"es-ES\"><i>Scielo<\/i><\/span><\/a><span lang=\"es-ES\">).
